The Norton County Hospital is accepting applications for the Chief Financial Officer position. The CFO is responsible for directing the organization's financial planning, accounting practices, revenue cycle, oversees operations in financial departments, banking, budgeting, audit, and insurance activities for the facility. This position evaluates the Hospital’s financial position and prepares periodic financial and operating reports. CFO is directly responsible for the Business Office, Registration, Health Information Management and Purchasing departments. CFO works closely with the CEO, CCO and Administrative Leadership in fulfilling the mission, strategic goals, and operational planning of the organization. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent education with a strong accounting background. Previous healthcare experience is preferred. Applicant must have advanced computer skills including Excel and automated general ledger and financial systems. Interested individuals should be highly motivated with excellent leadership and communication skills.
