The Norton County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Dispatcher. Successful candidate must have computer knowledge with good communication skills. Candidate must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, with no felony or certain misdemeanor convictions. Dispatch duties include but not limited to computer use in dispatch systems, telecommunications, and some jail responsibilities.
Benefits include single BCBS Health Insurance, Dental, Optometry, paid vacation and sick days, Holiday pay and KPERS Retirement plan. Starting wage is $14.00 per hour and some overtime will be required.
