    About Us

    High Plains Mental Health Center

HPMHC is the Comprehensive Mental Health Center for Northwest Kansas. We offer counseling, therapy, substance use disorder treatment, community based support services, and psychiatry and medication services. High Plains Mental Health Center is a licensed community mental health center dedicated to the aggressive pursuit of providing a comprehensive mental health program to the residents of Northwest Kansas. Embodied in this pursuit are fundamental principles of establishing quality services as close to home as possible, at an affordable fee, and delivered in the least disruptive manner available. Such services will offer a continuum of care so that treatment can be individualized, and our staff can respond quickly and compassionately to those reaching out to us. Services are available at six full-time branch offices and 16 additional part-time Community Outreach Offices. Ask us about telehealth services via Zoom! A sliding fee scale is available for those without health insurance. Access a mental health professional any time through our 24/7/365 crisis hotline: 1-800-432-0333.
