The Haven is a home-away-from-home for families coming to visit inmates at Norton Correctional Facility.
It is owned and operated by a non-profit organization called The Northwest Kansas Inmate Resource Council, Inc. and functions entirely on private donations and guest fees. All donations are tax deductible.
The three-story home is fully furnished with a comfortable living room. We have 13 bedrooms, four bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Our home can accommodate 30 people at capacity. There is a big backyard and playroom, with lots of toys for the children. We also provide cable and internet service.
We also utilize The Haven as a half-way house for women coming out of addiction. Short term rentals are available to qualified applicants.
COST AT THE HAVEN WILL ALWAYS BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM.
For reservations call The Haven at (785) 874-4043
Volunteers staff at The Haven takes care of reservations, check-in and sometimes prepares a free, family friendly meal on Saturday night so that everyone can get acquainted.
We need your prayers and financial support to help our ministry grow.
